What: A group formulated for the emotional support of family caregivers
When: The 3rd Thursday of each month – 7-9 PM – next date- Thursday, May 23, 2013 (date changed due to ride conflicts).
Where: Faculty Lounge of the SBU School of Social Welfare, Level 2, Health Science Center
Why: ALS impacts the entire family. Family caregivers face unique needs from the patient. This group provides a safe setting to encourage free exchange and exploration of emotions without judgment or guilt.
